Solar4schools helps teachers understand and promote solar energy. We provide background information explaining solar, teaching resources and lesson plans (coming soon), as well as solar photovoltaics (PV) installations at half the regular market price, to encourage a better understanding of solar energy.

The Low Carbon Building Programme (phases 2) which part funded the Solar4Schools scheme has now closed.

The Low Carbon Buildings Programme will be replaced by the 'Clean Energy Cash-back scheme' in April 2010. At the moment the details of this scheme have not been announced, but if you would like to be kept up to date please e-mail solarschools@solarcentury.com and we will let you know how the new scheme works as soon as details are available.
